What’s common between Jazz, design & UX?

June 9, 2015

Last week the 5th UX design and usability conference took place at Holiday Inn Hotel. The annual event is aimed at people,
professionally interested in design and user experience, and it features interactive trainings and workshops. The conference gathered
over 250 professionals. Domestic and foreign experts shared with the audience their experience and effective practices for making projects
more profitable and customers – more satisfied.
Some of the discussed topics were: How to apply UX practices when the environment is unfavorable? How to inspire your team?
How to use personality traits to influence the way people feel about a product and brand?

At the last day of the conference, the participants enjoyed a jazz improvisation with the last speaker – Jim Kalbach. He demonstrated why great
team collaboration is the key of the successful companies.  And to prove that he compared the jazz playing with the team working and showed
how the dynamics of jazz improvisation serve as a model for better teamwork.
For closing up – there was a raffle with prizes, provided by the sponsors. Nemetschek Bulgaria gave a special award – portable battery charger,
to keep you always in touch 🙂
