Dr. Michael Berger holds a Ph.D. in computer science specializing in distributed and intelligent systems. He joined DocuWare in 2008. As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), he leads product development, IT and cloud operations, support, and professional services. Michael assumed the role of co-president on January 1, 2019 with global responsibility of products, services and finance.
Max Ertl served as Business Development Director for Nemetschek AG. Max joined DocuWare as VP Marketing in 2001 and was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) in January 2018. Max assumed the role of co-president on January 1, 2019 with global responsibility for sales and marketing.
Professor Georg Nemetschek, born 1934, is the founder of Nemetschek AG and has played a crucial role in shaping the company. Dr. Axel Kaufmann has been appointed Spokesman of the Executive Board and Chief Financial & Operations Officer (CFOO) of Nemetschek SE, effective as of January 1, 2020. In this role, he is responsible for all the main Group functions of the Nemetschek Group and its global operating and strategic positioning including M&A strategy. In addition, he is responsible for the Media & Entertainment division.
