9th International conference of BHRMDA
In the Middle of May, the Bulgarian Sunny Beach Resort sheltered domestic and international HR specialists, who came for the 9th International Conference of the Bulgarian Human Resource Management and Development Association. One of the sponsors of the event was ITcard - a project of the European Software Institutte, distributed in Bulgaria by Nemetschek OOD. The Bulgarian software company, in the person of George Brashnarov - general manager, presented its ideas about "Management of talants in the inovative and dynamic environment". It was followed by a business presentation of ITcard - computer knowledge certification, and discussions with domestic and international HR specialists.

In April 2008, Inter Expo Center Sofia palyed host to BalPex Real Estate Exhibition. The mission of this Balkan Property Exhibition is to attract foreign investors' interest, providing accurate and up-to-date information about the market state and the basic factors, defining its development. Along with constructure-investment companies and fonds, a participation was taken by Nemetschek Bulgaria. It presented a software solution for Facility Management.

DocuWare AG concludes most successful year ever
In April 2008, The German software company DocuWare AG, celebrated their most sucessful year with all their international partners. The new product - DocuWare 5, launched in 2006, increased sales activities with 18%, compared to 2007. The German leader in Document management systems development, topped the 10 million euro mark for 2007.
Along with results review, the hosts presented the newest version of their system - DocuWare 5.1. The specialists of Nemetschek Bulgaria were also invited as a partner of DocuWare AG for Bulgaria.

"Effective business solutions" seminar
On 24th of March, the Bulgarian "Cash" newspaper arranged the "Effective business solutions" seminar in Radisson Hotel Sofia. The event was focused on ERP and CRM systems in order to help managers of trading and production companies raise the efficiency of their business processes. The top IT leaders were invited to present their products and Nemetschek Bulgaria was one of them. In their exposition, the specialists of Nemetschek Bulgaria emphasized on the simple adaptation of their system ( Customer Center) to the customer's needs.

Junior Achievement - "Manager for a day"
On 18th of March, for a 7th time, Junior Achievement Bulgaria invited hundreds of companies to participate in the national campaign "Manager for a day". Nemetschek Bulgaria has supported this initiative since times of its foundation and it doesn't missed to show it again this year.
October, 2007 - Nemetschek OOD has moved forward into continuous process improvement by obtaining CMMI 1.2 Maturity Level 2.
CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) of the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Pittsburg USA, is a process improvement maturity model for the development of products and services.
In October 2007 Nemetschek Bulgaria successfully completed CMMI Maturity Level 2 SCAMPI A appraisal and become the first company in Bulgaria that certified all the departments.
Implementing CMMI provides guidance for an efficient and effective improvement across multiple process disciplines in an organization and a common integrated vision of improvement for all the elements within the organization.
Benefits of implementing CMMI models are increased quality and productivity, as well as increased customer and employees’ satisfaction. Statistics (www.sei.cmu.edu/cmmi/results.html) show that, organizations achieve more than 60% increase in productivity and 14% increase of customer satisfaction.

It was in October 2007 when huge number of construction companies and property investors gathered for The International Fair “City Scape”, Dubai. Nemetschek Bulgaria took part in it, presenting its software solution for Facilities Management - FM Center. The showed interest held out opportunities to Nemetschek for collaboration and a trade relationship with new international partners.

Nemetschek Bulgaria joined in the Specialized Information Technologies Fair Gitex 2007 that was held in Dubai. It presented original software solution for Customer Management (CRM system) – Customer Center. The product is developed by Nemetschek by a given specification from their trade partner - Center Mine. The software was of interest for big companies and entrepreneurs of the region.

The International Autumn Fair Plovdiv for 2007 was held at the end of September. Every year, a huge number of domestic and foreign companies are taking part in this exhibition. Nemetschek Bulgaria didn’t miss the chance to show some of its products – integrated document management system - DocuWare, Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) – Customer Center and an antivirus system – Sophos.

NEMETSCHEK has successfully completed the IT Mark assessment provided by the European Software Institute (ESI, Spain). The achieved IT Mark certification covers three main areas: Business Management, Information Security Management and CMMI.
Mr. Youri Metchev, IT & QA Manager of Nemetschek Bulgaria, is the first certified IT Mark assessor on the Balkan region.

Business Matchmaking Event - Sofia
NEMETSCHEK attended the event between Bulgarian and Bavarian ICT companies and presented the innovative project AGILE, which was initiated by a consortium of European companies including Nemetschek Bulgaria. The AGILE project has been approved under EUREKA/ITEA Programme and the general goal is developing an Agile software development framework for embedded systems.
